Dude, I built a website!
Welcome to my personal site! It is chock-full of photos of the costumes I have made and worn throughout my years of going to fan-conventions. Hopefully they showcase both the art of the costumes and the art of the photographers and other amazing people who I work with. There are also lots of other projects (not cotumes) here which celebrate my fandoms. I have (relatively recently) gotten into video projects and being a "YouTuber" as well - so this site really serves as a centralized hub for all the costume-related things I enjoy. Please take a look around, watch the videos, give me feedback - I've been costuming for a while now but web sites are still new to me, so let me know what you think!

Video update!
I will be the first to admit that I have put website updates on the back-burner while I try to take care of other more real-life needs, but I am long over-due for an update. Instead of one massive update though, I'm splitting things into smaller, more manageable chunks! To start with, there's a handful of new video projects which have been posted recently!
To start with, the Ninja with the Soul Patch and his associate, Sir Scraggles the Beardly interviewed me at Con-G in February, and the clip is now up on the Ninja's YouTube channel. I tried to stay somewhat in-character for Fluttershy, which is why it's a little awkward, but was fun to do. Looking forward to seeing you gentlemen at the next convention!
And speaking of conventions, The Video Ninja, Featherweight, Whitless, and I put together a promotional video for The Rusty Gear 2012. Recording this one was definitely not without it's problems, but in the end everything came together and I have to admit that I had a lot of fun doing the props for the shoot.

In addition to the two videos above, we also completed and released a collaboration video celebrating my YouTube channel's 100th subscriber! I had a lot of fun with it, even though I ended up listening to the song WAYYYYY too many times between all my costume changes! Huge thanks for participating go to The Video Ninja, Whitless, VickyBunnyAngel, Dr Holocaust, Featherweight, and Errol. Lots of love for all of you!
And to round out this post... those of you who follow me on Twitter or Facebook will already be aware that I decided to take on "VEDA" - a challenge in which you vlog every day in April. Because I am making short videos each day, just keeping up with my daily life instead of making elaborate content for every day of a month, I am calling it a (micro) VEDA. I will embed my favourite video to date here, but you can take a look at all the videos here: Mai Sheri's (micro) VEDA.
